Artwork Collection

BIO

Since making the change to an alcohol-free lifestyle, my creativity has developed to a whole new level. I think this is due to both the time that I have reclaimed, and the clarity of mind that allows creative ideas and inspiration the space to form and be brought to life.

I completed a Creative Artistic Development Course at high school but since that time, I haven’t undertaken any formal art training. Through my own experimentation and exploration, I have slowly honed my skills and developed my personal style which includes my signature non-dominant hand writing.

Writing has been a big part of my life since I was a child, and I have many journals to show for it. I believe weaving writing into my artwork has added an individual flavour that I was previously searching for in order to add more depth to my work.

I love painting from my home art studio in the Kuranda rainforest, it transports me to another place, a place of flow and ease, where I am connected to my intuition and creativity in a way that is all encompassing and enlivening. I take my inspiration from the natural world around me and my personal life experiences.

I mainly work with acrylics, pastels, paint pens and spray paint, but I also dabble in acrylic ink, collage and impasto.
